Step 4: Discovery Phase

If the borrower files a valid response to the complaint, the case will move forward into the discovery phase. During this phase, both parties will exchange information and gather the facts of the case to support their arguments.

Depending on the complexity of your case and the court’s schedule, the discovery phase can last between 1-6 months.
